Product Availability in the Catalog
When searching for products, you can quickly see which items are low stock and which items are out of stock. When an item has a quantity of less than five in stock at your local Sysco Site, the status will reflect there are only a few left.
If you're using the List View in the Catalog, the item availability will display under the product name in the left hand column.
If you use the Grid View in the catalog, the availability indicator will appear at the bottom of the product tile. Clicking on the tooltip will allow you to find similar products.
Temporarily Unavailable Items ** Don't think we have this??? **
When an item is unavailable to order temporarily due to supply issues, you'll see a status of "Supply disruption to mm/dd/yyyy." These items will be unavailable to order when this status label is present. ** SHOP IMAGE **
Find Similar Products ** DON'T THINK WE HAVE **
For items that are out of stock, a Find similar products link displays similar in-stock products to purchase. Clicking on this link will open a pop-up and display in-stock items you can purchase instead. ** SHOP IMAGE **
You can add these recommended items to your cart, or add an item to a list. ** NOT AVAILABLE IN THIS CONTEXT **
Product Availability on the Product Page ** NOT AVAILABLE **
On the product page, you have visibility to whether that item is in stock, low stock, or out of stock.
When there are less than five in stock at your local Sysco Site, the status will reflect there are only a few left. ** NOT AVAILABLE **
When a product is out of stock, the status will display as Out of Stock. You can add Out of Stock items to your cart and purchase them, however, please note that the item(s) may be auto-substituted. ** NOT SURE THIS APPLIES/IS TRUE **
Product Availability in the Lists Tab **NOT AVAILABLE**
On your Purchase History and Custom Lists, you can easily see which items are low stock and which items are out of stock. When an item has a quantity of less than five in stock at your local Sysco Site, the status will reflect there are only a few left.
For items that are out of stock, a Find similar products link displays similar in-stock products to purchase. Clicking on this link will open a pop-up and display in-stock items you can purchase instead.

Phasing Out Items **NOT AVAILABLE**
When an item will no longer be sold by Sysco, the item will display a status of Phasing Out. These are items that have a limited stock, and once that stock is depleted, it will not be replenished. These phasing out items will display in the Catalog, Lists, and the search drop-down. When an item stock has been depleted, the status will show as Phased Out.
If there is a replacement item, that item will be linked next to the status and will include the replacement SUPC number. When you click the SUPC number, it will take you to the Product Details Page of that particular product.
