Finding the right products is easy in Buy Buckhead | Newport!

You can search by a product Category using the Products drop-down, or use the Search Product Catalog bar.

On the Homepage, you can search by clicking any of our Buckhead | Newport Categories. Clicking on one of the category names (like Meat & Seafood for example) will display results for that category of products.

These Category tiles are dynamically arranged and will display in the order of the Category you purchase the most from to the Category you purchase the least from.

You can also use the Products drop-down to select a category or subcategory and begin a search.

When selecting a Category, you'll be taken to the Category page where you will see all items in that Category and can search and filter for what you're looking for.

The search bar is available from any screen within Buy Buckhead | Newport. If you are not on the Homepage, you can find the search bar on the top of any page.

To search, enter your search term into the search bar and then press Enter. You can be as generic as you'd like, search by plurals or synonyms, and even search by a product's item number. Similar items will populate if the item number search yields no results.

Searching on Buy Buckhead | Newport is powered by Google. The AI-enabled system learns as you go. Therefore, the more you search, the more you'll find distinct, accurate results.

When you start typing in the search bar, the drop down will show suggestions of popular items, Categories, and Brands based on your letter(s) or words.

You can click the drop-down that says All to filter your search by a specific category.

Once you select a category, you can search for a term within that category.

When you search for a product, the name will show in bold on the top left of the page. The search will also display specific results on the page as well as the total number of results.

You have the ability to choose to view your results in either in a grid view or a list view. By default, your results will display in a grid view. To toggle between these views, use the grid or list icons on the top right of your results.

You can easily navigate back to the page you accessed this search from by following the “breadcrumb”, or link, on the top-left area of the page. For example, if you used the search bar from your Lists tab, you’ll see a Lists hyperlink allowing you to easily go back to that page.

Filters on the left can be used to further narrow down your results. Click on a drop down to apply specific filters.

Any filters applied will display across the top of your search results as labels, and will persist throughout each page of your catalog results. Clicking the X on a label will deselect that filter.

The Recently Purchased filter will show only items you have purchased in the last 14 months.

Under the Category drop-down, you will be able to filter your search by a selected category. When you select a category, the subcategories will display below, and the parent category will be bolded and displayed first on the list of Categories. You can also click on a subcategory to start a new search.

Under the Brand drop-down, the Sysco Brands filter will display all Sysco branded items that match your search criteria.

Under the brand filter, multiple brands can also be selected for a single search. The Brand filter will display the brands in alphabetical order.

Under the Pack Size drop-down, you will be able to filter your search by specific pack sizes when applicable.

The Preferences filter allows you to narrow down your search criteria to include several dietary preferences.

The Sustainability filter allows you to narrow down your search criteria by several Third-Party certifications when applicable.

Suggested searches will also populate across the top of the results page to assist in narrowing down search results.

Clicking on a suggested pill will re-do your search with the suggestion applied. For example, if the original search was for 'Pork Chop' and you click on the pill that says 'Pork Belly' the search results will update to show only results for Pork Belly. The suggested pills may also display similar items.

To search for another item, simply click on the search bar on the top right of the page, enter your search term, and then press Enter.
